How to get there?
MahaRaja is only 2 hours away from Sorong Domine Eduard Osok Airport (SOQ). It is making us one of the closest to Sorong, with direct boat access to our island, with no need to take a public ferry.
Upon your arrival, we will welcome you at Sorong airport and we will bring you to our private (pink :)) boat to take you to MahaRaja.
Sorong airport is reachable from Jakarta. Daily direct flights are available with Garuda Airlines and Air Asia. The average flight duration is 4 hours. Sorong airport is also reachable from Makassar, Bali, Ambon and Manado with Garuda Airlines, Sriwijaya/Nam Air and Express Air.
We will arrange the timing of our private boat transfer to and from MahaRaja, based on your flight details.
Private boat transfers are free of charge for our guests with one of the MahaRaja packages. If you did not opt for one of the packages, the rate is 200 EUR per person per trip.
In case you need to spend one night before your departure in Sorong, we will assist you with booking your accommodation at our partner hotel in Sorong. Please note that this booking is to be paid separately and directly to our partner hotel.
MahaRaja is based on Dokri Island, on the North East coast of Batanta, Raja Ampat, at these GPS coordinates: 0°45‘35.0“ S , 130°45‘15.0“ E . We are located exactly on the equator line !
