Eco Snorkeling
Crystal-clear waters and abundant marine life make snorkeling at MahaRaja better than diving in many parts of the world. You will meet our resident sharks, turtles, bump heads, dugongs, barracudas, butterfly fish, corals, molluscs, flatworms, nudibranch, many huge schools of fish and even Wobbegong sharks and manta rays.

Eco Diving
With some of the richest biodiversity and marine life in the world, diving in Raja Ampat is awe-inspiring. At MahaRaja, we push things even further by offering you a special eco-diving menu based on a new way of diving that doesn't pollute the ocean and doesn't disturb the marine life. From kayak diving, fluo night dives, eco-exploration, reef marine life sampling and more, our unique pink electric boat will take you out for eco-diving in the best spots of Batanta. Our PADI dive center and school is also the best and safest place to get trained in eco-diving.

Star Gazing
MahaRaja is a great place for the night sky lovers, as we are away from light pollution. Plus, being exactly on the equator line offers us the stars from the Northern and Southern hemisphere.
After dinner, lie down on the jetty while our astronomy expert introduces you to the magical world of the stars and take a closer look at galaxies, nebulae and planets through our telescope.
Paddle Boarding
Paddle boarding is a great way to explore our island and the islands nearby at your own pace. Take your fins and snorkel and pay a visit to neighbouring islands. Or go for a relaxing sunset paddle board after a day full of adventures.
