Raja Ampat is located in the West Papua province of Indonesia. It has been designated as a Top 10 Tourism Destination by the Government of Indonesia.
Only 35 islands are inhabited in Raja Ampat by a total of 50,000 people. The original inhabitants are called the Papuans. They are one of the oldest and genetically diverse human populations in the world.
Raja Ampat lies on the equator. With the air temperature being between 25⁰C to 32⁰C and water temperatures being 29⁰C all year round, it is a great travel destination 365 days a year.
